Beat the summer heat (and get some shopping done!)
While your little one is learning to move to the music in our dance studio, take some time to relax or get some errands finished. Artist Playground runs for 10 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday and/or Monday and Wednesday, 9am-12pm from June 3-August 16!
And it's no problem if you miss a class or two.
Meet The Instructor
Artist Playground is taught by Grace Demers--singer, theatre performer, and mother of two young girls.
Grace grew up in Aledo and, after graduating, attended Texas A&M University to earn her B.A. in English with a minor in Performance Studies.
She is also a New York Vocal Coaching trained voice teacher and has performed in and directed dozens of musicals. Most recently, she finished a run as production assistant for Casa Manana's Mary Poppins Jr.
Grace is delighted to return to her hometown to encourage young minds to grow through music and creativity!
Artist Playground Schedule
Every day, students will sing, dance, and create art! You can sign up for 2 days (MW / TuThurs) or all 4 (MTuWThurs)! Artist Playground ends with an art show and music/dance program at the end of the summer!
Music
For the first hour of class, we'll sing simple and educational songs and play musical instruments like shaker eggs & mini xylophones! Recordings feature jazz, classical, rock, blues, opera, and traditional songs from all over the world.

Art
The second hour of class is dedicated to creativity through visual mediums. Students will learn about the fundamentals of art, including Line, Color, Shape, Form, Pattern and Texture. Students will work with clay, watercolors, and drawing.
Dance
In the final hour of the Artist Playground, students will get all their summer energy out--dancing ballet and beginner tap and just for fun dances with stories and scarves!
Your Investment
We understand you might be gone a couple of class days on vacation. So we factored that into our pricing! Instead of ONE weekly group class (music or dance or art), your student gets all three for the same price ($125/month)!
Tuition is paid in 3 installments -- June 1, July 1, and August 1.
2 days/ week is $329 per month (Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday)
4 days/ week is $658 per month!
