Hi! My name is Alyssa Perdue, and I am from Seagoville, TX, now living right here in Mansfield, TX.

I have always had a love for singing, but my formal training in Classical Voice did not begin until my freshman year of high school at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX. There, I not only gained a love for Classical Voice, but also had opportunities to train in Commercial Voice and be a part of the school’s Gospel ensemble for 2 years, as well as take part in various choirs and opera productions. Around the same time, I also dipped my toe in serving in my local church’s Worship Ministry, which ignited in me a love for serving in the local church and training vocalists! This stylistic diversity from the beginning of my vocal training has equipped me well for teaching a diverse array of students, as well as given me a passion for instilling a diverse love of music in my students.

I have received my Bachelor of Musical Arts from Dallas Baptist University with an emphasis in Church Music. During my time in college, I was privileged to train in Vocal Pedagogy, as well as become a tutor for all levels of Undergraduate Music Theory and Aural Skills.

I am passionate about training up musicians who are not only musically and technically proficient, but have an immense joy and love for what they do!
