Hi, my name is Ruben Melendez. I began playing music in church at the age of 11 and have been in love with it ever since. I studied K-12 music education at Dallas Baptist University, and I recently completed my masters degree in Music Theory at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Hi, my name is Sam! I grew in Mansfield, Texas. I have loved to sing my whole. entire. life. However, my formal training in music did not begin until freshman year of high school. Fun fact, I actually attended voice lessons here with Sarah Darby (owner of Destiny)!
I went on to major in Music Education at Dallas Baptist University. I am so glad I did. My experience at DBU changed the trajectory of my whole life, and I am incredibly grateful that God led me to that University.

Hello I’m Angelo Perez and I began taking guitar lessons from when I was 7 years old until I was about 13, and have been playing ever since. I enjoy song writing and learning other instruments like the piano, bass and ukulele. I enjoy listening to all genres of music but especially indie and alternative rock

Jackie Minton is a classically trained vocalist, pop pianist, and folk guitarist. Attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, Jackie obtained a B.A. in Songwriting (and a minor in philosophy–just for fun!). A singer-songwriter in every sense, she melds folk inspirations with pop sensibilities.

Hello! My name is Sonia and my husband, Alex, my kids, and I lived here in Aledo! I received my education abroad, majoring in Piano Pedagogy and Linguistics. I moved to the US in the early 2000s and has been teaching since. Apart from my passion for music, I have maintained an interest in linguistics, having a basic knowledge of several European Languages, including, French, German, Spanish, and Russian.
