Howdy, my name is Sophia Robinson!

I started piano lessons when I was four and stopped shortly after my senior piano recital. I've been teaching for the last 3 years and love working with kids and watching their progress. I've played both piano and harp for events such as weddings and funerals and am the main accompanist at my church.

First and foremost, I believe music ought to be done to the glory of God and strive to point to him with my playing. Second, I seek to cultivate a love of the instrument in my students by finding pieces that they will be excited to practice but which will also expand their skills. Finally, I try to adapt my teaching strategy to each student in order to best fit their learning style and musical taste.

Apart from teaching, I love writing/recording songs, running, hanging out with family and friends, and drinking coffee.
