I've always had a passion for music - as early as I can remember. There's old videos of me making drums out of pots and pans, pillows, the coffee table, anything! I'm lucky enough that my dad taught me my first drum lessons on those old couch cushions, and after that I was hooked. I started playing in worship bands in church when I was in 7th grade, and I actually graduated early from High School so I could play in bands that were traveling around Texas and the southwest! Since then I've played, taught, led worship, worked in studios and a record label, produced live events, been a technical director for churches, and put my passions to work in almost every area of the music business.

 

I've been blessed to have some really great instructors that helped me form my musical foundations, and I love getting the chance to be that person in this next generation's story. Those "ah-ha!" lightbulb moments still put a smile on my face!

 

I live in Aledo with my beautiful wife, Julie, and my four children. Fun fact - my oldest son Camden is also an instructor here at Destiny! Outside of the studio I love playing golf, hiking trails, and spending time outside in nature. We also love seeing as much live music as possible!
